The location was great, with the main bar and shopping areas of the city easily accessible within a 15-minute walk. Taxis were also readily available. Having tea making facilities in my room was a nice touch, and the WiFi facilities were a plus.

The room initially felt cold, but the under electric blanket on the bed helped to warm things up. There were some minor issues, like a slipping shower head and old kettle in the sitting room that affected the taste of the coffee.

That the building seemed to lack insulation, which made the rooms quite cold during the winter nights. However, the beds were warm and comfortable.

The Shower Room: Taking a shower in the en-suite bathroom felt like stepping into a luxurious spa. The complimentary toiletries made me feel pampered and refreshed, as if I were being treated like a celebrity.
